This coal-fired power plant in North Dakota, owned by Basin Electric Power Cooperative, has been testing capturing carbon dioxide and shipping it via pipeline to an oil field in Canada, where it's injected underground to force more gas out.About $2.4 billion from the federal stimulus package will go toward research into cleaner energy from coal, Energy Secretary Steven Chu announced Friday.
